Traditional top-down X-ray systems may face limitations when inspecting tall or narrow bottles, especially when detecting fine metal contaminants inside liquid or solid-filled containers.
To address this challenge, our side-view X-ray inspection system was applied for the inspection of upright bottled pharmaceutical products, as shown in the test video.
The customer required reliable detection of thin metal wire contamination inside upright bottles, without laying the bottles down or interrupting the production flow.
